This is a rare and exciting opportunity to become an Apprenticeship Assessor with a leading education and training provider.

Based at the iconic Sellafield nuclear site, you'll join a team that delivers high‑impact training and assessment to engineering apprentices, helping them develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed to succeed in one of the UK's most advanced industries.

You'll deliver training and assessment to apprentices working toward their Level 3 qualifications, with a strong emphasis on mechanical engineering. You'll provide 1‑to‑1 coaching and mentorship to students and support them on their journey to complete their apprenticeship.

Full teaching qualifications will be provided – no prior training experience is required.

This role would suit an engineer with a mechanical bias who has a Level 3 qualification and a passion for mentoring others.

The Role:
  • Supporting apprentices' progress through coaching, reviews, and assessment
  • Full training provided
  • Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week
The Person:
  • Background in mechanical engineering
