We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance team at Wargrave Sewage Treatment Works (STW). As the successful candidate, your role will be to ensure that all equipment at our waste treatment works is running safely and efficiently using proactive and reactive maintenance methods. To assist in keeping such a site running.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to Thames Water's environmental impact, and you will be actively helping to reduce pollution from our sites. What you’ll be doing as the Mechanical Technician Investigate plant failures and perform repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible to avoid interruptions to the process. This may involve investigating and diagnosing complex faults and performing repairs during incidents.

You will be expected to provide technical advice, refer to up-to-date technical knowledge, and provide training or support for technical trainees if required. Examples of equipment that you will be working on include motors, gearboxes, screw /chain conveyors
