Qualifications

• Hold an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent/above) in a related mechanical subject.
• Ideally have experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Mechanical experience in plant, HGVs, motor mechanics (car/van), small tools (including garden machinery) or similar.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance on all plant machinery, including vehicles and equipment.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance repair of plant and associated equipment.
• Focus on repairs where required.
• Spend approximately 70% of your time in the workshop and 30% in the field.
• Occasionally work overtime, including weekends.

Mechanical Technician (Plant / Vehicle Mechanic / Workshop / Maintenance)

Henfield, West Sussex

Up to £38,000 DOE + Overtime + 22 Days Holiday + Company Van (Work Use Only) + Fuel Card + Bank Holidays + Contributory Pension + Health Care Package + Training

Monday to Friday 07:30 to 17:00

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance on all plant machinery, including vehicles and equipment from larger excavators to small plant, tools and generators.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance repair of plant and associated equipment.
• Focus on repairs where required.
• Spend approximately 70% of your time in the workshop and 30% in the field, primarily along the southeast coast.
• Occasionally work overtime, including weekends, when the company operates on a 24/7 basis.
