Job summary

British Pipeline Agency Limited (BPA) is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure the integrity of mechanical systems across COMAH Top Tier storage terminals and pipelines. The role involves performing maintenance, inspections, and fault finding on high‑pressure plant, with safety compliance and prompt breakdown response.

Applicants will have a recognised mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and a valid UK driving licence, with a focus on safe, reliable operations and ongoing

Qualifications

• Qualified in mechanical discipline to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience maintaining mechanical plant and equipment.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and inspection services to keep plant availability high.
• Attain and maintain competency to work on high‑pressure mechanical systems.
• Authorised to perform mechanical isolations and safety procedures.
• Carry out fault finding and repair on Mechanical Systems across sites.
• Coordinate with projects to ensure safety and operational requirements are met.
• Support 24/7 breakdown response and site troubleshooting.
