A leading sugar manufacturer in Cantley seeks a mechanical biased technician to support process operations and maintenance. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance within a multi-skilled team, contributing to the upkeep of manufacturing efficiency. Candidates should have a formal mechanical engineering qualification and substantial operational experience in a factory environment. Job Purpose Mechanical biased technician supporting process operations and maintenance activities across the site.
Shift Based: Reporting to the Engineering Lead and working as part of a multi-skilled team on shift during Operational periods, this role will carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance as required.
During gap periods, this role could also undertake basic electrical maintenance activities.
Days: Reporting to the Engineering Lead, this role will carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance as required.
Competent to receive and / or authorise a range of permits as required
Experience of working in an operational team of varying disciplines and skill levels
