Mechanical Supervisor – £45,000 + Benefits

Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer ready to take the next step into supervision? We’re looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to lead a skilled maintenance team, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems across site.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional and forward-thinking facilities management environment where no two days are the same. You’ll take ownership of planned and reactive maintenance, support engineers on technical issues, and play a key role in maintaining compliance and performance across a range of building services.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities.
• Plan and allocate workloads to meet service requirements and deadlines.
• Lead on diagnosing, repairing, and commissioning mechanical systems including HVAC, water, and plant equipment.
• Ensure all works comply with current legislation, health & safety standards, and company procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and contractors.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues to deliver a first-class service.
• Participate in the on-call rota as required.

What We’re Looking For

• Recognised mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in a mechanical maintenance or supervisory role.
• Excellent knowledge of HVAC, hot and cold water systems, and plant operations.
• Strong awareness of health & safety and safe systems of work.
• Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

• Authorised Person (Mechanical) or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS).
