Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor for a commercial project. You'll be responsible for overseeing a team of around 11 mechanical operatives, managing paperwork, and conducting morning briefings. The ideal candidate will have significant supervisory experience and hold relevant safety qualifications. This role offers a pay rate of £30 per hour, with work expected to continue until March 2026.

Qualifications

• Must hold a relevant JIB PMES/Engineering Skills Card.
• Proven experience in a Supervisory role is essential.
• Relevant Supervisory qualification (SMSTS or SSSTS etc) is required.

• Oversee approximately 11 mechanical operatives on site.

• 7.00 - 4.30 Monday-Thursday

Compensation

Rate of pay (CIS): £30ph

Start date: Monday 1st December
