Job summary

A prominent construction and engineering company is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor based in Isleworth, England. In this role, you will supervise subcontractors, troubleshoot mechanical problems, and ensure maintenance of equipment within the sewage treatment plant. Job description

As Mechanical Supervisor you’ll supervise and manage the operational resources (people, and physical assets) in order to implement the plan for the assigned project safely, on time and to the required quality while maximising customers' satisfaction and the gross profit. Your day to day will include:

  • Supervise Sub-Contractors, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure work is completed efficiently and according to quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems within the sewage treatment plant.
  • Monitor and perform routine maintenance and repairs on Mechanical equipment.
  • Engaging with the Supply Chain and support the contractor delivery and commissioning process.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the water or another utility sector.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour in a multi-trade environment.
  • Mechanically qualified with SSSTS or SMSTS.
