Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement detailed work plans and schedules for mechanical teams
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations
  • Conduct daily safety briefings and site inspections
  • Manage and direct a team of mechanical technicians and craftspeople
  • Perform quality control checks and documentation
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide technical solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status
  • Coordinate with other discipline supervisors to ensure smooth project execution
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience of Mechanical supervision within industrial settings, preferably in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or similar industries.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical fitting techniques
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Fitting, CCSNG)
  • Ability with BA and work in confined spaces
