Mechanical Site Supervisor

Salary

About the Role

Our client is looking to strengthen their Construction team with a Mechanical Site Supervisor based within commuting distance from Poole, Dorset (or comfortable living away from home Monday - Friday). You will report directly to the M&E Manager, and your role will be to supervise and control all mechanical site activities in the most efficient manner - to specification, within contract timescales, and without risk to health and safety - while delivering a high-quality end product. You will ensure that a Quality installation is achieved as the work progresses.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Site Manager in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees, supply chain partners, and visitors.
  • Ensure that all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) documents are correctly recorded, up to date, and reviewed when received.
  • Check that all relevant drawings, specifications, and documents accurately describe the work to be carried out.
  • Review and comment on Method Statements and Work Instructions in line with the Project Execution Plan.
  • Supervise all mechanical installation and commissioning activities, ensuring they are carried out in accordance with approved documentation.
  • Record progress of works on as-built drawings or other suitable means when required.
About You
  • HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience working on water or wastewater projects (Essential)
  • Experience with Chemical Dosing projects ()
  • SSSTS certification
  • CSCS card
  • First Aid qualification
  • EUSR Water Hygiene card
