Role overview

A leading, established and highly successful provider of mechanical and electrical installation services to commercial and industrial buildings seeks the solid appointment of an experienced Mechanical Site Manager / Mechanical Supervisor from an M&E / Building Services mechanical installation background to join their exciting planned growth and continued success.

Candidates must be based or commutable to the Birmingham area and be site‑based daily.

Key responsibilities
  • Act as an 'off‑the‑tools' manager, present on site managing, coordinating and checking off mechanical installation works on one project at any given time; projects ranging from £1.5M to £20M+.
  • Lead mechanical installations in commercial and industrial environments, including new‑build industrial sheds, warehousing and distribution, data centres and purpose‑built industrial buildings for manufacturing.
  • Manage and supervise Mechanical Engineers, Industrial Plumbers, Pipefitters, HVAC Engineers, Mechanical Supervisors and Mechanical Foremen; produce and work from detailed site schemes.
  • Collaborate with specialist engineers for integration of mechanical installation components.
  • Maintain a high standard of safety, quality and client satisfaction on all works.
Qualifications / Experience

Highly sought after candidates will have:

  • Direct mechanical site management or mechanical site supervisory experience.
  • Background in M&E / Building Services, with proven track record in delivering mechanical installations and related services.
  • Strong leadership and team liaison skills.
  • Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to ongoing career development.
