Mechanical Site Manager, Cambridge

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Site Manager to join their ever‑growing team.

Key Responsibilities
Site Management
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor site progress and provide updates to senior management and/or customer contacts.
Project Coordination
  • Liaise with design teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Review mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Assist with planning and scheduling mechanical works.
  • Manage procurement and delivery of mechanical materials and equipment.
Quality Assurance
  • Conduct inspections and maintain quality control of mechanical installations.
  • Maintain site records including daily/weekly logs, inspection reports, and progress updates.
  • Ensure all work is delivered in line with relevant standards and codes.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and motivate site teams.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and site inductions.
  • Support training and development of junior staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in mechanical site management within construction environments.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installation practices.
  • Familiarity with construction health & safety regulations.
  • CSCS card or equivalent (SSSTS preferred).
