As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of high–quality mechanical installations, including HVAC and air conditioning systems across retail projects. This well–established contractor focuses on delivering premium mechanical services across the retail sector and is expanding its team. You will manage projects across the North of England while supporting nationwide sites as required and be rewarded with bonuses and opportunities to increase your earning potential.

Your role will include:
  • Develop and maintain project plans; coordinate with design, engineering, and off–site fabrication teams to ensure smooth installation of HVAC, air conditioning and other mechanical systems.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and control variations to meet financial targets.
  • Ensure all works comply with H&S regulations and quality standards, including inspections, testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
  • Lead on–site teams, manage subcontractors and act as the main contact for clients, consultants and contractors.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, manage changes and maintain accurate reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC and air conditioning systems
  • Mechanical or Building Services Engineering qualification relevant to construction
  • Willingness to travel to sites nationwide as required
