Job summary

A leading UK M&E contractor in Cambridge is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee a significant project lasting until 2026. This role offers a chance to develop within the company towards becoming a Senior Mechanical Project Manager or Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager. The successful candidate will manage a team, conduct cost analysis, and liaise with clients, ensuring the project's success and compliance with health and safety standards. Rates are between £350 - £400 per day.

We are currenlty looking for a Mechanical Project Manager in Cambridge. A leading UK M&E contractor based in Cambridge who deliver Mechanical & Electrical projects in all sectors including Healthcare and residential projects are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join and manage a large project based in Cambridge. The project is set to run until 2026

This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Project Manager who is looking for join a successful team and develop a career within a leading M&E contractor, with a view to either become a Senior Mechanical Project Manager/ Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager

Responsibilities

• Management a team/ subcontractors
• Cost analysis
• Liaising with the client
• Managing the handover process
• Project reporting the board of directors
• Attend meetings
• Bring in the correct labour for the job required.
• Obtain quotations for materials and order inline with program of works.
• Raise and issue all Health and Safety
• Design through to completion
• Finalization of all final accounts with the nominated QS
