Job description

Then our in‑house MEP Engineering business, Crown House Technologies, is the company for you! We are looking for an experienced mechanical project manager to join the team on Hinkley Point C, the nuclear power station currently underway in Bridgwater, Somerset.

As a valued member of an industry‑leading team, you will be responsible for delivering the mechanical packages, overseeing installation, and closing out the safety file for final handover. This important management role will support the fit‑out of the Operations Service Centre, a nine‑storey building that will house key support functions for the power station.

Qualifications & Experience
  • First degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related construction or design discipline, or an industry‑recognised technical qualification (NVQ level 4) with demonstrable experience in a design and construction delivery environment.
  • Ability to drive a large‑scale, regulated project.
  • Previous experience in the nuclear or other regulated environment is an advantage.
  • Delivery of large highly regulated projects (MEP value £15 m – £100 m+).
  • Capability to select and manage innovative methods, materials and safe systems of work.
  • Solid application of mechanical engineering principles and calculations.
  • Establish and oversee local implementation of engineering systems, documentation and controls to comply with H&S legislation and company standards.
