Bimplus in Plymouth is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team as workloads increase in a secure, technically demanding environment.

The role involves coordinating mechanical projects from planning through to handover, working with clients, site teams and subcontractors to deliver HVAC, water and ventilation systems. It offers clear career progression and exposure to diverse projects.

Qualifications

• :Recognised mechanical qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience with HVAC, water services and ventilation systems.
• Experience in supervisory or project engineering roles.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• RAMS, quality documentation and work programmes experience.

Responsibilities

• :Coordinate and deliver mechanical projects from planning through to handover.
• :
• Manage multiple workstreams and coordinate site teams and subcontractors.
• Plan labour requirements, schedules and programmes.
• Produce RAMS, quality plans and project documentation.
• Coordinate materials, plant and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, quality and compliance.
• Attend client and project meetings and provide updates.
• Support commissioning, testing and handover activities.
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams.
