Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Project Engineer to lead and control bespoke mechanical projects from order to data dossier submission. The role requires interpreting customer design requirements, producing schedules, and coordinating with suppliers and third parties to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Based in Swansea, the position offers a permanent contract with salary around £42,000 plus overtime. Strong IT and communication skills with a background in mechanical engineering are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ project management experience on similar projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsabilités

• Control projects from order to data dossier submission.
• Interpret customer design requirements from data sheets, drawings and specs.
• Attend meetings with customers for technical and commercial clarifications.
• Generate and monitor project plans using Microsoft Project.
• Check fabrication drawings and calculations.
• Produce quality control documentation.
• Source materials and organise subcontractors.
• Monitor costs and document variations with customers.
• Assist with transport or shipping of project equipment.
• Liaise with customers, inspectors and third parties onsite.
