  • Able to attend site meetings and carry out site surveys.
  • Experience in coordinating between contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Run day-to-day operations of projects.
  • Take off materials and plant; place orders.
  • Produce final accounts and compile Operating & Maintenance manuals.
  • Ensure safety and quality control.

Skills

Understanding of air conditioning systems
Design knowledge (pipe sizing, duct sizing)
Proficient in Microsoft Word
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook
Proficient in Microsoft Project
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
Full UK driving license

Are you an experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineer looking to take the next big step in your career?

Our client, an established and respected specialist contractor, is looking for an ambitious Mechanical Project Engineer to join their expanding team.

Based in Westerham, this successful company delivers high–quality air conditioning and mechanical services across chilled water, steam, heating, and refrigerant systems. They provide complete project solutions from planning to final handover.

The Role:

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day running of projects
  • Estimating project from drawings
  • Take off materials/plant and place orders
  • Attending site meetings and carrying out site surveys
  • Coordination between other contractors
  • Take instructions from clients, make necessary changes
  • Cost variations
  • Produce final account
  • Compile Operating & Maintenance manual
  • Safety and Quality control of the project
About you:
  • Understand how air conditioning systems work
  • Some design knowledge will be useful. Pipe sizing and duct sizing
  • A good understanding of air–conditioning systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project
  • AutoCAD is not essential but an advantage for small changes
  • A full UK driving licence is essential due to regular site visits.
