Apprentice Mechanical Project Engineer (Building Services) – Westerham GBP15,700 + benefits

Are you passionate about engineering and looking to kick–start a rewarding career with a super company? We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Mechanical Project Engineer to join a leading building services business in Westerham.

This is an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands–on experience while working towards a Building Services Engineering degree through a 3–year university day release programme. Full training and support will be provided to help you develop into a skilled engineer.

What you'll do:
  • Day to day running of Projects.
  • Estimating Project from drawings.
  • Take off materials/plant and place orders.
  • Attending site meetings and carry out site surveys.
  • Coordination between other contractors
  • Take instructions from clients, make necessary changes.
  • Cost variations.
  • Produce final account.
  • Compile Operating & Maintenance manual.
  • Safety and Quality control of the project.
  • Understand how air conditioning ventilation and heating systems work.
  • Design, pipe sizing and duct sizing.
  • AutoCAD.
  • Work alongside experienced engineers to learn practical skills.
  • Gain invaluable experience while completing your degree.
