Mechanical Project Engineer (Construction & Package Management)

Location: South West Scotland – Highly hazardous COMAH site Contract, Outside of IR35

My clients tank farm expansion project is underway!

To support this critical phase, they're looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer who can step in and confidently lead construction and package management activities across multiple disciplines, including:

• Civil & Structural
• Mechanical & Piping
• Electrical
• Control & Instrumentation
• Tank Manufacturers

This role will oversee installation and commissioning, with an expected duration of 6–8 months.

We're looking for an EPCm‑experienced Mechanical Project Engineer with strong coordination skills, vendor management capability, and a solid understanding of multi‑discipline interfaces.

Someone with previous experience delivering projects on a highly regulated process manufacturing plant.

Candidates with experience from transitioning sites such as FEP ExxonMobil may be particularly well‑suited.
