Role Overview

We are looking for a mechanically skilled operative with experience in mechanical systems, groundworks, and plant operation. The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible, and capable of working independently or as part of a team on infrastructure and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical equipment and tools
• Assist with groundworks and civil engineering tasks
• Conduct inspections, basic repairs, and routine maintenance
• Support site supervisors and project managers
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
• CSCS
• Experience with plant machinery (e.g., 360 excavator, telehandler)
• Confined Space certification and experience
• Thames Water passport
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions
