Mechanical Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Based in Merthyr Tydfil, this company supplies high-performance products used in critical infrastructure projects across the UK and beyond. The company is seeking experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineers who are ambitious and can develop into engineering/maintenance management roles.

Role Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will work a 4on 4off shift pattern with a 12-day break every 7 rotations. You will be responsible for proactive and reactive maintenance on facilities and production equipment, ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards.

Candidate Requirements

  • Provide electrical and mechanical support on all production lines
  • Good knowledge of PLC fault finding with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs
  • Maximize machine availability through effective planned preventative maintenance
  • Experience working with AC/DC drives and inverters, including fault finding and commissioning
  • Adhere to safety regulations at all times
  • Participate in planning, control, and routine inspections
  • Implement a Total Quality approach across the site

Benefits

Salary circa £50,000 including shift allowance, with plenty of overtime and opportunities for leadership development.
