• Conduct design reviews and check for scope gaps.
• Prepare and issue RFIs for project communication.
• Manage commissioning stages and ensure quality assurance.

Role: M&E Senior Associate at Michael Taylor Search & Selection Ltd

Client: My client has established themselves as one of the UK’s premier M&E contractors. Following their formation almost 75 years ago, they have grown their turnover to over £200m per annum. The business boasts an envious track record of delivering some of the UK’s and London’s landmark projects. Typically they specialise in major shell and core projects in sectors such as; commercial offices, healthcare, pharmaceutical and education. They offer excellent exposure and internal training schemes with a hands-on approach to developing their staff.

Role/Responsibilities

• Design Review (scope gaps / clashes)
• Short term programming
• Health & Safety (RAMS)
• Technical Submissions
• Preparation/issuing RFIs
• Sub-contractor coordination
• Management of commissioning stages
• Quality Assurance – using tablet software
• Liaising with client team, main contractor and sub-contractors
• Progress meetings with sub-contractors, professional teams and client

The ideal candidate

• Progressed from a tools background and have good technical knowledge of mechanical services
• Experience working in the commercial sector, specifically on plant rooms and risers
• Experience managing projects to a minimum of £2M within your own discipline
• A minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role
• SMSTS
