Tesco is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to keep our stores safe, functional and welcoming. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across diverse equipment, diagnosing faults, and ensuring compliance and high safety standards.

Qualifications

• ONC or equivalent qualification.
• Recognised mechanical apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2/3.
• Full driving license and health & safety awareness.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Office 365 knowledge.
• Completed all technical training upskilling modules.

Responsabilités

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on dock levellers, DDLS systems, scissor lifts, doors and shutters.
• Respond to breakdowns swiftly to minimise downtime.
• Document maintenance activity using digital reporting tools.
• Collaborate with site operations to ensure safe work with minimal disruption.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procedures.
