About the Client

ATA Recruitment is working in partnership with a fantastic client in West Yorkshire who are the fastest growing independent FMCG Manufacturer in Europe. They are now recruiting for a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their fast-paced manufacturing plant.

The Role

You will be joining a team of 10 highly skilled maintenance engineers to undertake planned preventative maintenance - you will be joining a strong team work ethic and will have ongoing support from the maintenance engineers on shift as well as the engineering manager. Training and development are at the forefront of my client, and they have budgets in place to provide tailor made training to suit you and the business needs.

Responsibilities
  • The planned and reactive maintenance and service of all the state-of-the-art kit on site
  • Work alongside a diverse high skilled on-site maintenance engineering team of 10 engineers.
  • Mechanically you will mainly be replacing worn out parts on the conveyors which will include rollers, bearings, gearboxes, pneumatics.
  • Operate lathe milling machines and conduction machining/fabrication work as an when required
  • Interpret engineering drawings
The Person

To be successful in your application for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will need:

Qualifications
  • Mechanical NVQ Level 3 qualification, time served
  • Maintenance experience in a high speeds production, manufacturing, FMCG environment is highly desirable but not essential
