The Role of Mechanical Maintenance Technician

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the diverse range of equipment at the company's 32-acre site. Your key duties will include :

  • Responding to plant breakdowns to diagnose and resolve mechanical faults
  • Performing routine preventative maintenance tasks as per the scheduled programme
  • Contributing to equipment reliability improvements through failure analysis and root cause investigations
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are accurately recorded in the computerised maintenance management system
What We're Looking For
  • Completed a recognised Mechanical Maintenance Apprenticeship and attained NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Extensive experience working on process plants, preferably in the chemical or oil and gas industry
  • Strong health and safety awareness, with knowledge of permit to work and lock‑out tag‑out procedures
  • Proficiency in using computerised maintenance management systems, such as SAP PM
