Job summary

Premier Engineering Corporation Limited is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support our site engineering team in Erith. The role covers planned maintenance, reactive maintenance and troubleshooting to keep plant equipment running smoothly.

We value pride in workmanship, good organisation and time management. Monday–Friday with occasional weekends and call-outs; driving licence is preferred. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a Mechanical City & Guilds qualification, NVQ Level 3 or time-served apprenticeship.
• Preferably hold a driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance on plant machinery.
• Carry out reactive maintenance and repairs as required.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults to minimise downtime.

Job description

Based at a food processing refinery at Erith, our new Mechanical Maintenance Technician will support our engineering team in the day to day running of the site. Providing planned maintenance, reactive maintenance and troubleshoot repairs for plant machinery. We are looking for a candidate who takes pride in the work they do and has a good organisational and time keeping skills.

Working:

Monday - Friday with occasional weekends and call outs

Salary:

negoiable depending on experience

The successful candidate must hold a Mechanical City & Guilds qualification, NVQ Level 3 or have a time served apprenticeship with City & Guilds. Preferably hold a drive licence.
