Job summary

Computerworld Personnel Ltd seeks an Electrical Inspector to join and lead the maintenance team across multiple sites. The role emphasizes preventive and predictive maintenance, quality execution, and strong training opportunities within a stable, national business.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 or HNC in Mechanical Engineering and experience with SAP, predictive maintenance, and coordinating contractors. Excellent progression routes and external training are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with current plant equipment and predictive maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance activities to ensure high quality preventive tasks are carried out.
• Detect deviations in plant asset performance in a timely manner.
• Plan and prepare routine maintenance with area engineers.
• Establish standard work plans for repetitive tasks and promote standardization.
• Inspect equipment during random or scheduled tours to identify anomalies.
• Support maintenance teams in diagnosis and problem solving.
• Coordinate external contractors and monitor work quality.
• Utilize SAP and alarm systems to review plant information and generate work orders.
