An exciting opportunity to join an established FM building services company based in a commercial environment on a static basis in Saffron Walden, Essex. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plumber to be based in a commercial building in Saffron Walden, Essex. The successful candidate will carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site. The candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and a proven track record in mechanical plumbing building maintenance. In return the company is offering a competitive salary up to £45,000.

• Repairing Toilets and Sinks
• Unblocking Toilets
• Water Treatment
• Waste Water Treatment
• Repairing pipework and leaks
• Minor installation works
• Flexible in helping other trades on site
• Planned and reactive works
• AHU's / FCU's filter changes
• Boiler & Chiller checks
• Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Testing
• Pumps and Motors

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm (40 hour week)

Call out – 1 in 4 or 5 - £100 stand by and minimum of 4 hours if called out

Requirements

• City and Guilds in Mechanical Engineer / Plumbing Level 2
• City and Guilds in Water Treatment - Desirable
• City and Guilds Legionella control within hot and cold water systems - Desirable
• Demonstrate previous experience commercial plumbing
• Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material
