A heavy plant manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to perform maintenance on equipment. This role offers a 4 on 4 off schedule and a salary of £44,000 to £46,000. Candidates should have a Mechanical Engineering qualification and experience in maintenance roles. A proactive work attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success.
Hours: 4 on 4 off - 6am to 6pm
Salary: £44,000 to £46,000 per annum + overtime paid at x1.5 & x2.0 + benefits
Location: Commutable from Barton upon Humber, Hull, Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Beverley and surrounding areas

You must be willing to get your hands dirty in a heavy plant environment and not be averse to training and developing your skills. If you're qualified in Mechanical Engineering and have experience in any of the following, please apply; welding, bearings, shafts, lathes, mills, motors, pumps, belts, chain drives etc. Ideally in some form of maintenance or fitting role but any would be considered.
This is a permanent Days Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Fitter position, working 4 on 4 off, 6am to 6pm.
It really is a varied role and the machinery will be made up and you will deal with belts, chain drives, bearings, shafts, mixers, conveyors. Anyone with mechanical skills in some of these areas would be highly desirable, along with working in a mechanical maintenance role.
