Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

£45,000 – £47,000 (DOE) + Overtime + 33 Days Holiday + Days Only + Social Events + Excellent Benefits
Shifts: Monday – Friday (6–2 / 2–10)
Location: Sheffield

The Company

We’re working with a long-established, medium-sized manufacturer that’s currently investing heavily in its people, site, and equipment. The business operates a complex, process-led production facility, offering engineers a varied, technically interesting, and stable environment to develop their skills.

Due to continued growth and increased production demand, they’re now looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to their team.

The Role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Responding to mechanical breakdowns to keep production running smoothly.
  • Carrying out preventative and planned maintenance tasks.
  • Working with a range of rotating and process equipment.
  • Supporting installation and improvement projects on-site.

This is a hands-on, days-only position with the opportunity to grow within a supportive and well-structured maintenance team.

About You
  • NVQ Level 3 qualified Mechanical Engineer or Fitter.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, process, or heavy industry environment.
  • Welding and pipefitting experience would be advantageous.
  • Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to maintenance work.
