Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join one of our Manufacturing clients in the Leeds area.

Role: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)

Location: Otley
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Shifts:
  • Week 1:Work 4 consecutive night shifts, followed by 3 days off.
  • Week 2:Work 3 consecutive day shifts, have 1 day off, and then work 3 consecutive night shifts.
  • Week 3:Have 3 days off, followed by 4 consecutive day shifts.
  • Week 4: Have 7 consecutive days off.
  • Holidays are 30 days ( 3 days xmas shut down)
  • Pension 3% contribution
  • Death in service x 4 salary
  • Free parking

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant mechanical engineering or technical qualification is preferred.
