A global engineering automation firm in the UK is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. This role includes supporting site maintenance, diagnosing mechanical faults, and performing repairs on automation equipment. Ideal candidates will have experience working in FMCG or manufacturing environments and must be NVQ Level 3 or apprenticeship trained. • Must have experience working in an FMCG, automation, manufacturing, or production environment.
• Capable of diagnosing mechanical faults and performing repairs.
• Able to complete servicing on a variety of automation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support site maintenance and repairs within a site-based team.
• Complete all repairs and ensuring spares are kept at required levels.
• Positively react to any faults.

• Complete all repairs
• Diagnosis of Mechanical faults and repairs
• Must have experience working on Conveyor systems, Chains, and Gears
• Must have experience working on Lifting Equipment / Working at Heights
• Positively react to any faults
• Ensure on-site spares are kept to the required level
• H&S Aware
• The successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer must have experience working in an FMCG, automation, manufacturing, or production environment.
• NVQ 3 or apprenticeship-trained, or Mechanical, or ONC, HND.
