  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance across all mechanical systems.
  • Maintain and service HVAC systems, pumps, valves, boilers, and associated plant equipment.
  • Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and ensure all work meets current safety and compliance standards.
  • Support with building inspections and liaise with contractors and suppliers as required.
  • Participate in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support.

Overview

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Corporate Office Building

Location: Knightsbridge, London

Salary: £45,000 per annum + Benefits

Hours: Monday-Friday, Split Shifts (7am-4pm / 9am-6pm)

Callout: 1 in 3 weeks (£100 per week allowance)

Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all mechanical systems.
  • Maintain and service HVAC systems, pumps, valves, boilers, and associated plant equipment.
  • Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and ensure all work meets current safety and compliance standards.
  • Support with building inspections and liaise with contractors and suppliers as required.
  • Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks) to provide out-of-hours support.
Qualifications
  • Recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a commercial building or corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and general building services.
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with a professional and customer-focused approach.
