Are you a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a fresh challenge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're seeking a proactive, hands-on engineer to join our dedicated maintenance team and keep our production running smoothly.

The Role

As part of the on-site engineering team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production equipment
  • Fault finding, root cause analysis, and implementing long-term engineering solutions
  • Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
  • Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained
About You
  • Time-served or qualified in Mechanical Engineering (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC)
  • Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills — hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, conveyors, etc.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (FMCG, food, automotive, or similar)
  • A team player with good communication skills and a commitment to safe working practices
