Job summary

HR GO Recruitment in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire is seeking a mechanically minded Technical Line Operator to keep production lines running smoothly. You will diagnose faults, perform mechanical first-line maintenance and assist with preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

You'll work with the Engineering team or external specialists to resolve issues quickly, ensuring safety and quality while supporting the shift plan and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing and on a production line.
• Food industry experience valued but not essential.
• Experience in fault finding and mechanical/engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Organise the shift plan and respond to line stoppages promptly.
• Diagnose faults and perform mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with Engineering or external specialists to restore production safely.
