Job summary

JMC Aviation in the United Kingdom invites applications for a training specialist to deliver theoretical and practical aviation training and develop course materials. You will work on maintaining and updating notes, PowerPoint presentations, and data to ensure alignment with internal compliance standards.

The role includes examiner/invigilator duties as required, plus ongoing maintenance of the examination database to support high standards of instruction across aviation programmes.

Qualifications

• Significant aviation experience (civil or military) with fixed wing or rotary wing.
• Recognised apprenticeship in aviation maintenance or an academic teaching qualification.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office.

• Ongoing update, maintenance and editing of training material and course notes.
• Development and innovation of training products to stay at the forefront of the industry.
• CAA/EASA Examiner and Invigilator duties as required by the Training Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for theoretical and practical training delivery, course development and other subject matter expert tasking as required.

Key Responsibilities

• The theoretical and practical delivery of training products, striving to ensure that this meets customer satisfaction key performance indicators (KPI) and targets.
• The ongoing update, maintenance and editing of training material to include approved course notes, PowerPoint presentations and other data ensuring compliance with internal process whilst doing so.
• Development and innovation of training products and material to ensure the company remains at the forefront of training for the industry.
• CAA/EASA Approved Examiner and Invigilator duties as required by the Training Manager and subject to successful qualification for the role.
• The ongoing update, maintenance and editing of the examination database

Candidate Requirements

• Significant aviation experience (civil/Military) with fixed wing or rotary wing
• A recognised apprenticeship in aviation maintenance or appropriate academic teaching qualification dependant on the subject matter area to be instructed.
• A good working knowledge of MS Office.
