Job summary

A leading global energy job platform in Uxbridge is looking for a QA Inspector to use CMM and laser arm instruments for precise analysis of components. The ideal candidate should have a background in quality control within precision engineering and hands-on experience in this field. You will play a vital role in ensuring components meet crucial specifications and will be involved in the R&D process.

A newly refurbished precision QA inspection department has just installed CMM PC-DMIS instruments and a Hexagon Absolute Laser Arm to undertake precise analysis of machined components.

You’ll be using these instruments to ensure these important components meet GD&T specifications, some of which are +/- 10 microns.

The components are in small volume, often pre-production prototypes providing you with involvement in the R&D process, feeding back your analysis to the design team.

You’ll need a substantial quality control background in a precision engineering environment, preferably with hands‑on experience in using CMM and laser arm instruments.
