A leading aerospace company in Denham is seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of aerospace components and maintaining safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspection, knowledge of GD&T, and proficiency with inspection tools. Qualifications

• Experience in inspection within manufacturing or engineering.

Skills

Job Advert: Mechanical Inspector (Shift) Aerospace Engineering

Location: Denham

Salary: £35,000 £38,000 + possible overtime

Shift:

Week 1: M - T: 6AM - 2PM; F: 6AM - 12PM

Week 2: M - T: 1:45PM - 10PM; F: 11:45AM - 4:15PM

Were looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join a leading aerospace engineering team at our Denham site. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the safety and reliability of life-saving equipment used in some of the worlds most advanced military aircraft.

The Role of a Mechanical Inspector:

Working on a shift basis within the Inspection department, youll be responsible for the verification and quality assurance of aerospace components. This includes:

• Inspecting and testing mechanical parts using various tools and techniques
• Accurately reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Recording all work, inspections, and non-conformances in SAP
• Tracking components through the production process
• Maintaining accurate documentation and inspection records
  
  

What Were Looking For In A Mechanical Inspector:

• Strong background in inspection within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Solid understanding of GD&T and ability to read complex engineering drawings
• Skilled in the use of inspection tools and measurement equipment
• Basic understanding of health & safety procedures
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
