Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking an HVAC Multi Skilled Engineer for the Liverpool site to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant, equipment and building services. The role includes risk management, PM program improvements, and liaising with the client on reactive and planned tasks.

The ideal candidate will fault-find on HVAC plant (with VRV bias) and hold F-Gas credentials, supporting health and safety, acting as Energy Champion, and completing required documentation.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience on plant, equipment and building services.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks to the client through site equipment; improve PPE and plant performance; manage environment conditions via BMS; implement preventive maintenance.
• Fault finding on HVAC plant with focus on VRV systems; handling of refrigerants and F-Gas qualifications.
• Support team on Health and Safety; act as Energy Champion and assist Safety Champion for the site.
• Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance team.
• Create and follow Risk Assessments; review issues arising from them.
• Complete documentation as required by rules and legislation.
• Use CAFM system to project and complete works; plan daily tasks via email/calendars.
• Liaise with onsite Supervisor and Account Manager to manage building services issues.
• Be the accountable person when required; deputise for site supervisor during leave or sickness.
• Work overtime as required, including nights and weekends.
• Perform adhoc duties; supervise and manage sub-contractors; participate in on-call rota.

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting an HVAC Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team located in Liverpool.

The successful candidate will perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance to both Plant, Equipment and Building Services.

Role Summary

• Identify and manage the risks to the client through the equipment on site, including identifying critical spares, improving performance of plant and equipment, managing the environment conditions on site through the BMS system and running all plant and equipment efficiently, improving and implementing the preventative maintenance program.
• Using new equipment and technologies to maintain a working and comfortable environment liaising with the client on any requests for certain reactive and PPM tasks.
• Fault finding on all types of HVAC plant and equipment with a bias to the maintenance of Variable Refrigerant Volume air conditioning systems. Working with refrigerant and having the necessary qualifications in the handling of F-Gas.
• Support others in the team in relation to Health and Safety
• Perform the role of Energy Champion and assist in the role of Safety Champion for the site.
• Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the Maintenance team.
• Write and follow Risk Assessments and be available to question any issues which arise from them safely and accurately.
• Completion of the required documentation as specified with the requirements of all rules and legislation.
• Use Mobile Devices to accurately project and complete any works from the CAFM Maintenance System.
• Use of emailing / calendars to plan your daily work requirements so that all tasks are completed effortlessly and efficiently.
• Liaise with onsite Supervisor and Account Manager to manage any Building Services related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required.
• To be the responsible person when required for the team and deputise for the site supervisor during annual leave or sickness where required.
• To work overtime as and when the business requires, this may include nights and weekends to which notice may not always be given.
• Perform adhoc duties as and when required.
• Supervision and management of sub-contractors.
• Participation on an on-call rota for emergency call out purposes out of normal working hours.
