Job summary

TechNichols Resourcing Ltd is recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer on a rotating shift pattern in a heavy plant manufacturing environment. The role includes planned and reactive maintenance, plus involvement in projects and improvements across the facility.

The package includes a salary of 40,000 to 43,000 per annum with benefits such as an annual bonus, Christmas vouchers and employer pension contributions of 8%.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained in mechanical engineering preferred.
• Experience in planned preventative maintenance and breakdowns.
• Experience in a highly automated production facility.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Working across a rotating shift pattern.
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on plant machinery and building infrastructure.
• Undertaking projects and improvements while adhering to EH&S guidelines and CMMS.
