Mechanical Fitter

ReeVR Talent are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our clients assembly team on a contract basis, supporting the build and integration of their products during a busy project period.

Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Fitter:
  • Assembly and fitting of precision mechanical components and sub-assemblies
  • Work from detailed mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and BOMs.
  • Carry out basic alignment, fitting, and testing of assemblies to tight tolerances.
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Liaise with design and engineering teams to identify and resolve assembly issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to 5S and health & safety procedures.
Requirements for the Mechanical Fitter
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter / Assembly Technician
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Hands‑on experience with hand tools, torque tools
  • Team player with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
  • Available for immediate start or short notice.
