Overview

Mechanical Fitter (Field Service Training) – based in Sussex and ideally located in Portsmouth, Worthing, Brighton, Crawley. Salary £32,000–£38,000 with monthly bonus after training plus extensive training, van and phone. This market‑leading company, specialising in installation, service and repair of specialist lifting equipment, is looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join a stable yet dynamic team.

The Role

• Field Service Engineer
• Installation, service and repair of hydraulic lifting equipment
• Field based working from home
• Excellent manufacturers training
• Salary £32,000 – £38,000 + monthly bonus paid after training

The Person

• Strong mechanical skills
• Able to read electrical wiring diagrams

• Experience in hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatics fields encouraged

Training and Development

Extensive training lasting between 6–12 months, shadowing a senior engineer, after which the engineer will travel to multiple sites across the patch to install, service and repair specialist lifting equipment.
