Job Summary

We're Advanced Actuators in Silsden, and we need some extra support in our fitting department, as we are getting very busy in the coming months.

We are open to permanent staff or someone looking for a temporary contract, until around March 2026.

We work four longer days (8-6), and half day Friday (8-12).

We've done a lot of work to make our workshop well‑organised, efficient and easy to do your job - you'll find it easy to settle in. We are genuinely a nice place to work, and we have loads of people who have been here for years - we do look after people well.

The majority of what we make are hydraulic actuators for the oil and gas industry, but you really don't need any specialist knowledge. Just be willing to learn, and have some relevant experience in an engineering workshop, and we can teach you the rest. You will probably have experience as a fitter or assembler.
