Overview

Job Title: Mechanical Fitter/Assembler (Machine Builder)

Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

Salary: £14.00 to £16.00 per hour (plus overtime). Dependant on experience

Job type: Permanent, Full time

Ashe Controls Ltd are a global manufacturer and supplier of specialist state of the art slitting and rewinding machinery for the film, paper, printing and packaging industries.

Positions have become available and we are now seeking additional permanent Mechanical Fitters/Assemblers to come and join our friendly team based in Ipswich.

Role Requirements

• Mechanically minded, enjoys building assemblies and working with their hands.
• Working with bearings, pulleys, belts, motors and drive systems
• Working to engineering drawings and assembly drawings
• Hard working and reliable
• Enjoys working on their own or in a team with others
• Working on and building machines from start to finish
