Job description

Position: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Bicester, Oxford

Start Date: 21st May

Hours: 12 hour Day / Night shifts

Shift Times: Day Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 / Night shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Duration: 3 weeks

PAYE Pay Rates:

Day shift

• Mon-Fri, All Hrs: £22.00/hr Including Holiday Pay
• Sat-Sun, All Hrs: £30.00/hr

Night shift

• Mon-Fri, All Hrs: £24.00/hr Including Holiday Pay
• Sat-Sun, All Hrs: £32.00/hr

Lodge / Travel Allowance: £55.00/day

The Role

Our client has a requirement for Mechanical Fitters for an EFW power station shutdown near Oxford. Duties will involve removal of mechanical equipment, general plant maintenance, grinding and cleaning of mechanical components.

Essential Requirements

• CCNSG card
• Confined Space Entry certificate
• NVQ 3 / City & Guilds in Mechanical Fitting
• Manual Handling, Working at Height, Abrasive Wheels, Slinging certificates an advantage
• Experience of working on large industrial sites (cement, power, refinery, steel)
