Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter.

Key Responsibilities

• Construction of mechanical systems and equipment to engineering drawings.
• Testing, fault-finding, and diagnostics of mechanical equipment.
• Ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative.
• To be able to prioritise and work to given timescales.
• To adhere to the company policies and procedures.
• To ensure quality standards are met

Person Specification

Essential Skills

• Hands-on experience of mechanical equipment assembly or machine building.
• Fault-finding and diagnostics skills.
• Have an advanced knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes.
• Experience of using hand and power tools.

• Pay for the role is £16.42 per hour and the pay rate includes shift allowance
• Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours then Time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time,

The hours are a rotational shift pattern, which are:

• AM Shift - 05:30am - 1:30pm Monday to Friday then onto the PM Shift
• PM Shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday is 2:00pm - 8:00pm
