The Job you’ll do
  • Routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on plant equipment

  • Installation, commissioning, and testing of machinery

  • Identifying improvements to maximise plant availability

  • Supporting project work, shutdowns, and upgrades

  • Following permit-to-work and risk assessment procedures

  • Assisting with wider engineering tasks where required

  • Flexibility is essential, as occasional overtime, weekend shutdowns, or out-of-hours breakdowns may be required

About You
  • Recognised mechanical engineering qualifications (NVQ Lvl 3 or higher is desirable)

  • CompEx certification (desirable)

  • Experience working in hazardous or regulated environments / CoMAH (preferable)

  • Strong mechanical fitting and troubleshooting knowledge

  • Ability to read and follow technical documents and maintenance schedules

  • Proactive problem-solving and teamwork skills

  • Commitment to safety and compliance at all times
