Job summary

Integrate Engineering Resources Ltd is recruiting a Mechanical Fitter in Stirling, Scotland for a 9-day shift. The role covers installation, maintenance and repair of gearboxes, drive assemblies and conveyors, with emphasis on pack lifter modifications and safe site practices.

10-hour days, Mon-Fri plus overtime and weekends, with accommodation provided. Ideal candidates have proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, hands-on gearbox/chain drive expertise, and ability to read mechanical drawings

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
• Hands-on experience with gearboxes and chain drive systems.
• Experience maintaining or installing conveyors or other materials handling equipment.
• Ability to work from mechanical drawings and use fitting and alignment tools.

Responsibilities

• Remove, install, maintain and repair gearboxes and drive assemblies.
• Work on conveyor chains, sprockets, shafts, bearings and couplings.
• Carry out mechanical strip-downs, component replacement and reassembly.
• Carry out modifications to pack lifters.
• Check chain tension, drive alignment and equipment condition.
• Identify faults and support testing before equipment is returned to service.
• Work safely with the site team and follow isolation and permit procedures.

Duration: 9 days

Hours: 10 hours per day, Monday-Friday, plus overtime and weekends

PAYE Pay Rates:

Mon-Fri, First 10 Hrs per day: 24.00/hr

Over 10 Hrs per day & Weekends: 30.00/hr

The Role:

Integrate Engineering Resources is recruiting Mechanical Fitters for industrial conveyor and materials handling work. The role will focus on gearboxes, chain drives, associated mechanical equipment and modifications to pack lifters.

Duties:

• Remove, install, maintain and repair gearboxes and drive assemblies.
• Work on conveyor chains, sprockets, shafts, bearings and couplings.
• Carry out mechanical strip-downs, component replacement and reassembly.
• Carry out modifications to pack lifters.
• Check chain tension, drive alignment and equipment condition.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
• Hands-on experience with gearboxes and chain drive systems.

• Relevant mechanical qualification or apprenticeship is preferred.
• CSCS/CCNSG.
• Experience in power generation, EfW, biomass, recycling, quarrying or heavy manufacturing would be useful.
