Job summary

Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd in Preston is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join a leading German manufacturer. You will service, maintain and repair a variety of mechanical equipment across the UK with regular overtime and progression opportunities.

Based in the North West, you will travel to sites, work on hydraulics, motors and gearboxes, and receive a competitive package including a company vehicle and pension.

Qualifications

• A mechanical background with hydraulics, motors and gearboxes.
• Experience in maintenance of mechanical equipment including plant, cranes or similar machinery.
• Willing to travel UK wide and commutable to Preston.

Responsibilities

• Covering the North West and surrounding areas for service visits.
• Mechanical servicing, maintenance and breakdowns of equipment.
• Hands-on training and on-site equipment handling.

Your Role As A Mechanical Fitter:

• Covering the North West and surrounding areas
• Mechanical servicing, maintenance and breakdowns of equipment
• Hands on training with equipment

The Successful Mechanical Fitter Will Have:

• A mechanical background (Hydraulics, Motors, Gearboxes)
• Background in maintenance of Plant / Cranes / Forklift / Ex-Forces (REME) or similar mechanical equipment
• Commutable to and around Preston
• Willing to travel UK wide when needed
